by - 23:51:00

Well folks it's week two of the One Room Challenge and today we're sharing the design plan for the kitchen and powder room. If this is your first time hearing about this challenge let me me back up, the One Room Challenge is an online design event sponsored by Better Homes and Gardens where bloggers and designers set out to makeover one room (in our case two) in six weeks, blogging along the way.  This is week two and we're sharing our one room challenge fall 2020 week 2 design plans below.

The windows in this kitchenette are the jewel of the home. They're big and they open to the most beautiful backyard garden oasis so it seemed only fitting to frame them in a beautiful moody colour, Dolphin by Benjamin Moore, to make the outdoors pop. We are also replacing the existing kitchen hardware with some beautiful new pieces from Schaub & Company (small change with a a big impact). We're replacing the sink with a beautiful new stainless steel sink from Blanco. For furniture we're thinking a plaster pedestal table surrounded by four metal framed leather chairs

Our plans for the powder room are all about making this room feel bigger and brighter. The original red of this powder room had to go (see before pics here). Our main objective is to make this room the pop of colour of the home. We selected some amazing wallpaper from Spoonflower, a funky blue vanity, a new mirror and a new light fixture. This one is sure to be the jewel of the home in the end.
