Super Hero Party - DIY Favour Box

Since we have a big party planned for my baby’s first birthday my eldest boy’s birthday was going to be lower key...and by lower key I mean Chuck E Cheese. When I made my reservation on the website I was given the choice between a princess party or super hero party. The thought of a super hero party instantly inspired me. I decided I wanted to make something special as the party favor (and because the trinkets you get from CEC are just as good as a loot bag). This DIY is for the cute box I made to hold the pre-party gift – can you guess what it is? Check it out here - No sew DIY Super Hero Cape.
I got some cute boxes from Target’s going out of business sale and covered them in this great polka dotted paper from Michaels.
I printed and cut out some Pow Bang Boom signs, and glued them onto the box. Then I tied a balloon onto each box.
When I placed them all in a row on the table they made quite the impact – even in a place as over-stimulating as Chuck E. Cheese.
Stay posted for what's inside...
