One Room Challenge Spring 2017 Reveal: Laundry Room Makeover

by - 00:35:00

Reveal day of the One Room Challenge Spring 2017 is here. This season really made me work for it. My instastories told it all. Let this be a warning to future challenge participants, do not choose a laundry room because you think it'll be small and easy. It could not be further from the truth. Laundry rooms are awkward, clunky and are a Tetris game to paint. The good news is that even with all my missteps (ripping out the drywall, screws falling out of the drill, my hubby and I bickering over weird shelf brackets, wallpaper stuck on delivery, installing a last minute herringbone backsplash myself etc) I still managed to finish on time. My design is bit different than my original plan but I like it none the less. PS, I am still struggling with these photos (I have no natural light - any suggestions are welcomed).

To catch up on my process to date check out my previous posts here:
Week One (Laundry Room Makeover Plans); Week Two (Crazy Demo); Week Three (Repairing Drywall); Week Four (Painting and Counter-tops); Week Five (Wooden Bead Chandelier).

Here are some before pics.

This print will always remind me of the hard work I put into this tiny room (no offense to Napoleon).

Thank you so much for following along! It was a blast and I learned a lot. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram to stay up to date on my latest catastrophe...err...I mean project (up next, my patio).
