DIY Tassel

by - 20:32:00

I had some thick wool left over from my previous macrame project so I decided to whip up this quick DIY Tassel.  While shopping the other day I saw some throws with these amazing big tassels and I thought that would be great way to update some of my existing throws at home.

Tassels are super easy to make. Wrap the wool around your hand approx 5-6 times. Pull it off your hand, thread some string through the center and tie a knot. Cut the wool. Use another piece of string and wrap it around the wool approx one inch from the top. Trim the bottoms even and you're done.

I think I will be making a few of these and perhaps create a garland for Christmas or maybe even Halloween - they do look a bit like ghosts : )
