I'm slowly but surely getting our house decorated and livable. Last year we were living in a flip project so most of our furniture and stuff was in storage. Sadly a few of pieces of our art became discoloured and damaged while in storage. One of the most damaged and faded pieces was a large canvas print so rather than throwing it out I decided to prime it and paint something new. Using some painters tape and some left over paint from the rooms in my home I created this Mid Century Modern Abstract Canvas Painting and it has inspired so many more ideas.
Here is quick view of the original faded canvas and my process for creating this piece.
I also have a quick video on this this so you can watch it come to life. Be sure to subscribe to the Harlow and Thistle YouTube Channel for more fun projects.
